Witch predicts Brazil's good luck

It seems as if the crystal ball in Ecuador agrees with the experts: Brazil will either win the World Cup or make it to the final round, while Ecuador will exit in the second round.

Rebeca Pacheco, a "catholic witch" from Quito, says that a reading from three cards showed that "Brazil and Germany will make it to the final" and that Italy, Argentina, Mexico, Japan and England will advance far into the tournament.

Brazil has "an incredible positive energy," according to Irma Fiorello, an Ecuadorean tarot expert.

The forecast for their local team: second round.

"Ecuador will advance to the second round, then [in the second round] it will face a traditionally good team," said Jaime Aguavil Calazacon, a Tsachila Indian witch.

Ecuador is in Group A with Costa Rica, Germany and Poland. In the second round, the teams from Group A will face the advancers from Group B.
