Family offers reward, enlists psychic in search for missing woman

MORRISTOWN, N.Y. The family of a missing 69-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease in Jefferson County is offering a 2-thousand dollar reward for her safe return.

After more than a week of searching, police curtailed their search for Gerda Probst of Plessis this weekend. Probst was last seen June 29th. The Probst family meanwhile has enlisted at least one psychic in their search for Gerda.

Family members say Gerda sometimes reverts to speaking her native German as a result of her Alzheimer's. She was last seen wearing white shorts and a pink sweater and is in good physical health.
