There are many documented cases of both people and animals having a special ?gift? known as ESP (extrasensory perception). If you own a pet or work closely with animals, perhaps you have encountered a situation where you have either witnessed an animal using its sixth sense, or your pet has tried to communicate with you telepathically.
Well, move over, John Edward: Long Island has animal communicator Patricia Bono, who has been helping people and pets in our community know a little bit more about each other for 30 years.
Bono says that the human/animal bond can be quite profound on another level and she has been aware of this for a very long time.
?Since childhood I have had the ability to hear, sense and feel what animals both domestic and wild hear,? Bono explains.
While learning about her gift, she recalls that many animals that have died and passed over to the ?other side? were communicating to her through telepathic thought forms, feelings and emotions. ?It is a gift I was born with, so to me it is a natural part of who I am and has been embraced as such,? she adds.
There has been great controversy over whether animals have souls, and Bono feels strongly that they do. She also shares with others her belief that animals do have a sixth sense and gives an example of an important event in her life that, in her opinion, proves that this extraordinary gift does exist.
Bono visited the home of a married couple. They had multiple animals of all types.
?As soon as I walked into the room where the animals were gathered, the first words that resonated from all of them were how happy they were that his wife was pregnant,? Bono remembers. ?I mentioned this information that I just received from the pets to the couple and they seemed to be upset with this news.?
The couple immediately mentioned to Bono that they had been trying to conceive for quite awhile but had not been able to do so. So, Bono continued on with her communication work and received answers to the questions that the couple had and ended her visit on a happy note.
According to Bono, she ?received a letter from them months later telling me that they did indeed find out she was pregnant at that time and she had given birth to a healthy baby.?
Many people have the belief that if a person abuses an animal in this lifetime, after they die they will be brought back as an animal that will be abused.
?This is a tough question to answer,? says Bono when asked her opinion. ?There are many different schools of thought about this. My own feeling is that it could very well be possible, but in my own practice I have yet to come across a situation such as this from an animal I have communicated with.?
Even though Bono has not confirmed the theory, animal abusers everywhere should consider the possibility of it being true.
