BUFFALO, N.Y. Television psychic James Van Praagh was driving through western New York to deliver a seminar at the Lily Dale psychic retreat today when a feeling hit him.
When his car was stopped at a police roadblock today, Van Praagh says he saw a white house with cellar doors, possibly belonging to a friend of fugitive Bucky Phillips' ex-girlfriend.
Ralph "Bucky" Phillips is wanted in the shooting of two state troopers who were staking out the home of his ex-girlfriend Thursday. The troopers, who were both critically wounded, were part of a manhunt that began in June with the shooting of another trooper near Elmira. Troopers were stopping cars today in Chautauqua County and checking trunks and trailers.
The co-executive producer of the CBS series "Ghost Whisperer" has previously weighed in on cases such as O-J Simpson, JonBenet Ramsey and missing government intern Chandra Levy and has appeared on several television news programs including "Larry King Live." State police spokesman Rebecca Gibbons says she's not aware if police had or will seek psychic input.
