Billionaire Eric Benirall (Sam Neill) hires journalist Howard Thomas (Eric Stoltz), oceanographer Emily Patterson (Catherine Bell), meteorology professor Bruce Geller (Michael Rodgers) and psychic Stan Lathem (Bruce Davison) to investigate why his ships have been disappearing at sea.
He dangles a $7 million reward per person to lure the protaganists to undertake the mission.
Even if you have a short attention span, the show will have you hooked with its masterful suspense.
And as the plot thickens, you'll be asking yourself: 'What is going on?'
In the first episode, a packed passenger plane crashes in the Bermuda Triangle.
However, after just two hours of the crash, the plane's wreckage looks like it has been under the sea for decades, as it appears covered with barnacles and rust.
The flight's sole survivor is a 6-year-old girl. When she is found a few hours later, she has mysteriously turned into an old lady.
Soon after, more strange events occur.
For example, Patterson gets visions of the survivors of the plane crash and Geller is unable to see a reflection of himself in the mirror.
I was so captivated by the show that I kept wondering if these strange happenings have occurred in real life.
Unfortunately, we all have to wait till the final instalment of this series before we really get any answers to the million-dollar question: 'What is going on?'
