FREDERICK ? A local woman discusses her son's unsolved murder with a psychic on an episode of "The Montel Williams Show" airing next week.
Terry Horman, mother of Joshua Crawford, taped the show last week in New York. It will air Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. on Channel 9, she said.
The segment featuring Ms. Horman will be broadcast in the first 15 minutes of the show, she said.
More than three years have passed since Ms. Horman's second of three sons was found bound and gagged in his Kingscrest apartment July 2, 2003, on what would have been his 21st birthday.
During the taping of the talk show, Ms. Horman received tips about the case from best-selling author and psychic Sylvia Browne.
Ms. Browne told Ms. Horman that the murder will be solved. The psychic gave names of two people she said were involved in the killing.
Ms. Browne urged Ms. Horman to have investigators take another look for DNA evidence on the duct tape used to suffocate Mr. Crawford. Ms. Browne told Ms. Horman some of her son's property could be found in area pawnshops.
Tuesday afternoon, Ms. Horman met for an hour with Assistant State's Attorney Nanci Hamm, the lead prosecutor in the case, and Detective Tracy McCutcheon of the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.
"I told them that I was going to further any steps I needed to take as a mom," Ms. Horman said.
"'America's Most Wanted' is next, and then I'll tell Nancy Grace (of Court TV) everything about the case if I need to," she said. "I have further plans ... I'm not giving up until I get this thing solved."
Police and prosecutors have said they will follow up on all tips related to the case, which remains an open investigation.
