Something fishy going on at cafe

A TV psychic will today perform a seance at a Leeds restaurant plagued by mysterious events.

Restaurant owner Lawrie Burwell, 70, of the Seafarers in Cross Gates, took over the building 10 years ago and is now less sceptical about ghosts.

He said: "I was quite sceptical to start with but a few things have happened that I just cannot explain.

"One morning I came into work and went to the sink. The chain on the plug had been broken at every link and laid out in the basin. I had been the last one in the building the night before and the first one in.

"Another time we arrived at work and the specials board had been wiped clean in places and weird symbols written in instead."

Psychic and medium Gavin Cromwell will visit the cafe and restaurant in Austhorpe Road today for a seance.
