Jodi Sanderholm's older sister appeared Friday on the "Montel Williams Show," and asked a psychic if Jodi had anything to tell her loved ones.
"She does come around," psychic Sylvia Browne told Jennifer Mayfield.
"If you ask your daughter, she will give you a lot of information because Jodi speaks to her."
Mayfield's daughter, Emma, was born around the time Jodi was killed. Mayfield went into labor after the search for her missing sister began, she said.
Jodi disappeared on Jan. 5, Mayfield told the psychic. She never made it to her Arkansas City home after dance practice.
Four days later, Jodi's body was recovered. It was found in a field in southeastern Cowley County.
Later that month, a 23-year-old man was charged with murder, rape and aggravated kidnapping in her death. He awaits a June trial.
"When Jodi was found, I was still in the hospital," Mayfield said on the show. "My husband told me -- I don't even know if he said anything -- but by the look in his eyes I knew."
Mayfield noted that Emma grasps for photos of her Aunt Jodi.
"Any time there is a picture of Jodi, she'll reach for it and squeal in delight," she said.
The psychic told her that the little girl can see Jodi and talk to her.
Mayfield also asked if Jodi had anything to say to her fiance.
"She loves him, but wants him to go on with his life," Browne said.
