COHASSET - Ghost hunters came to Cohasset Town Hall last month and said they found evidence that the building is haunted.

"They found two things they considered evidence - a door that shut on its own in the attic, off the Board of Health, and a voice saying 'no,' " Oram said.

The "voice" was recorded in the cellar, using a tape recorder and special software said to pick up things people don't hear.

The cellar of the 1857 portion of the building was once used as a jail.

"They also had a medium with them, and he kept getting feelings," Oram said. "He said it felt like it was not a nice ghost, but I don't believe it."

The local cable television station, Channel 10, plans a special program on the ghostly goings-on in April.
