Voodoo dolls get the vote

Voodoo dolls of presidential election candidates have gone on sale in Mexico.

Manufacturer Alberto Nava is selling the Vuducratas dolls for ?6 each, reports UOL Noticias Populares.

The dolls have the politicians' faces and come with needles and a map that show the best areas to put them.

A needle in the left eye is supposed to make the politician more transparent, a needle in the heart denotes honesty, while the right hand is for common sense.

Mr Nava said: "It is like long distance acupuncture."
