I inherited my abilities from my mother's side of the family. I had a special connection with my grandmother and dreamed when things happened to her and vice versa. I have noticed that my abilities range from seeing things in pictures, or hearing the answers to certain questions, feeling the emotion associated with the situation or just knowing what the situation is.
Paul: Tell us something personal about yourself.
Rebecca: I am a single mom and have a boyfriend that is totally not into the psychic paranormal stuff, I think because it scares him. I have one daughter who loves anything about ghosts and is my best friend. I am a manager for a State government agency. I love to paint and have been painting since I was six. I do graphic art. I am dabbling in writing my own novels. One novel is about a 500 year old dancing vampire. Another novel is about a person that has the power of mind-over-matter. I like all kinds of movies except for gory things like Saw or Texas Chainsaw. I love all kinds of music my favorite bands are Gwen Stefani, NO doubt, Paramore, Muse, Peter Bjorn and John, Leann Rimes, Sara Brightman etc. I love walking and hiking, bike riding, belly dancing or any kind of dancing.
Paul: When did you learn that you were psychic?
Rebecca: I learned that I was psychic when I was about 27. I always felt different from other people. I started playing a game with myself when I was about 13 trying to guess the outcome of situations before they would happen. I would also dream about things before they would happen but never considered myself a psychic until after I was bit by a black widow spider. I know it probably sounds funny like Spider-man or something but I noticed I was hearing voices more clearly and visually getting images of things like watching a movie.
Paul: Explain your psychic abilities?
Rebecca: I inherited my abilities from my mother's side of the family. I had a special connection with my grandmother and dreamed when things happened to her and vice versa. I have noticed that my abilities range from seeing things in pictures, or hearing the answers to certain questions, feeling the emotion associated with the situation or just knowing what the situation is. I am still learning to control the many aspects of my psychic abilities especially the emotional part of it because it seems the most difficult to control since it feels like my own. I also have the ability to remote view, which enables me to find lost objects or people. Finding people is easier since it has an emotion attached and I can sense it that way.
Paul: You mentioned to me previously that you felt a psychic connection to a certain missing girl case. Can you explain that?
Rebecca: I did feel a connection to the (name taken out) case. I do not usually concern myself with missing persons. My mother had mentioned that a little girl was missing in Sacramento and that she was so cute. I felt like I should look into it since I just recently moved to that area but when I found the story online it turned out to be in (city name taken out) not Sacramento. I did feel an instant connection to her since she reminds me of my daughter when she was younger. Like so many other people I followed the story and prayed that she would come home safely. I started asking myself "where could she be?" Then I started getting the message that she was in a box and I tried to look in the box but it was dark, very little light coming through. I felt she was near water. I disregarded anything I intuitively picked up thinking I was imagining it. A few days later I saw that she was found in a suitcase in the (county name taken out) county irrigation pond. I knew then that I could not ignore anymore information I was getting about anything, especially about a missing person. I tried to call around to other psychics I knew and most of them said that I should just keep it to myself, that psychics are made fun of and thought of as crazy. So I only shared it with a few people for my own sanity and we kept an eye on the case. I feel much calmer since the arrest and no longer get any messages in regards to (name taken out). This experience has taught me to trust myself and believe in my abilities. I would also like to open up a network for other psychics like myself that have questions and need help. I couldn't find anyone to help me and when I did they wanted several hundred dollars to talk to me for less than a half hour.
Paul: Tell us about some of your memorable psychic experiences.
Rebecca: Some of my most memorable psychic experiences have been when I helped a healer work with his clients. I would tell him what sort of emotional blocks the person had to help them get through things. I remember always having to fall asleep with the lights on and running to my parent's room every night. I was as young as three. I also remember when I was six years old I looking over the side of my bed and seeing something looking back at me. I was so terrified that I stood up and jumped as far as I could to get my dad. Later that year I went to visit my grandma and woke up one morning and saw shadow people against the walls. I saw them for three nights and told my grandma about it, but she said it was nothing. I have also helped out friends and family members with things but never told them where I got the information from. Such as the perfect place to rent or career moves. I am also looking forward to having more experiences in the future and helping more people.
Paul: What would you like to do with your psychic intuition?
Rebecca: I would like to help people and be able to be myself. Maybe even teach others to get more in touch with their won psychic abilities and not charge them an outrageous fee. That has always turned me away from other psychics.
Paul: I think you told me that you been to two haunted homes in Hanford and Hayward. Can you elaborate?
Rebecca: I lived in the one in Hayward and my family can attest to the fact that it was haunted. We would often hear someone calling out "mom" in the downstairs bedrooms. My brother said he was sleeping down there once and heard a women talking to him and also having a penny hit him in the head. He later asked me "why did the ghost throw a penny at me?" and I told him, "Maybe the ghost is telling you to have some sense or to count your pennies." My daughter frequently told me that she saw a man and I never told her it was her imagination I just asked her what her was doing and she said just looking. Other times the doors would close by themselves or things would disappear and reappear after being lost for a long time. I never lived in the house in Hanford that was my parent's house but I always got a creepy feeling when I was there. I always had a hard time sleeping there. My mom told me that she was watching TV one night in her room and saw someone walk into the bathroom. My mom thought it was my dad she called out to him but after he didn't answer she got up and saw that there was no one there.

Paul: Hey..Before I close this interview, what was that Egyptian connection thing you were telling me about?
Rebecca: I went to the Egyptian museum in San Jose when I was little and have been obsessed ever since. I was told by my psychic reader of three years that I have had many lives in Egypt as a queen. A lot of people wonder what the Egyptians are doing in their wall art or rituals and my guides told me they were mimicking another form of being. Kind of like role playing or acting out something that had been previously seen but no longer existed so they could remember. The same thing applies to other societies like the Greeks and Native American cultures from the past.

Psychic: There are different kinds of psychics. A clairvoyant- is a person that has the ability to see, clairaudient-having the ability to hear, claircogninace-having the ability to know.
Empath: empaths have the ability to feel emotions from other people and animals or even emotions left behind from a situation. This is one of the hardest abilities to control because the empath often confuses the emotion with their own and often suffer from emotional and physical discomforts.
Intuitive: Similar to claircognicence having the ability to know things. Every living being has intuition it's that strange unexplainable gut feeling or cold shiver you get that keeps you from going the wrong way or being in the wrong place.
Remote Viewer: Has the ability to locate lost objects or people sometimes being able to get inside of the person's mind or where the object is. Similar to mind reading or channeling when dealing with people.
Medium: A person who communicates with the spirit world
Channeling/Channeler: The ability to give information not from the self but usually from another person or outside source.
