Police and the FBI use all tools available to help them solve crimes even, at times, turning to civilians with special gifts for help.
Patricia McMonagle of New Hope, Bucks County says she's been psychic as long as she can remember, telling fortunes and seeing spirits. And surprisingly they don't scare her one bit:
?Actually it's kind of reassuring because for one thing we know there is a place after death and that does help the ego a bit. It's kind of nice to know that people you care about are still there and you haven't lost them forever.?
McMonagle claims she just knows when she can help police. She says recently she helped Philadelphia police with the Center City rapist investigation. In the 1980's, she assisted in the case of the Atlanta Child Murders.
