Los Gatos Realtor Collects Ghost Stories

[Carol]

Los Gatos Realtor Mary Pope-Handy, profiled in an earlier Observer article, has launched a new web journal titled Haunted Real Estate Blog, where she will gather and re-tell ghost stories about her spooky experiences in Los Gatos.

Mary Pope-Handy"Realtors are in and out of homes all the time, and most of us get a sense that some homes feel happy or sad, tense or nurturing," Pope-Handy explains on her blog. "After a while, total strangers started telling me their stories and wanted to hear mine. And eventually other real estate professionals shared amazing tales with me, too."

Pope-Handy already has a web site devoted to Haunted Real Estate, but that has more practical information, such as a seller's duty to disclose a "feeling" of being watched by unseen spirits.

Mary Pope-Handy makes a wealth of information available to potential clients and others on the web. She is just wrapping up the 14-week Project Blogger. Winners will be announced after July 15.
