JOHANNESBURG ? New evidence which might lead investigators to the graves of victims of paedophile Gert van Rooyen has surfaced.
After a two-year investigation television programme Carte Blanche has narrowed down the search for the sex fiend?s victims to a secluded area in Pretoria, which is less than 2km from the house where Van Rooyen and his mistress Joey Haarhoff lived.
Using the latest technology in the form of quantum physics and DNA amplification, as well as clairvoyance, investigative journalist Susan Puren and her team established that the bodies of Van Rooyen?s victims Joan Horn, 13, Odette Boucher, 11, Anne-Marie Wapenaar, 12, Yolande Wessels, 12, and Fiona Harvey ,12, may be buried in a dried-up dam which had been built on an existing wetland.
After obtaining hair samples from three families, inventor Danie Krugel was able to pinpoint the exact location of the bodies using his global positioning radar system based device.
A well known psychic independently indicated the very same site.
Carte Blanche enlisted the services of an anthropologist and archeologists to excavate the site.
Fragments of degraded bones were found. Test results revealed some of the bones had belonged to humans ? several men and two women, but DNA tests were inconclusive.
