Susan A. Smith reads tarot cards at her office at the Essential Health and Wellness Center.
Susan A. Smith, who teaches various classes to help people hone their physic abilities, wants to share what she describes as the psychic abilities of the region?s people.
The classes that she teaches include: introduction to Tarot, advanced Tarot, psychic development for beginners, advanced psychic development, introduction to palmistry and introduction to dowsing, which is a way to tap into energy to answer questions.
?Since I have been teaching classes, I have discovered and perhaps known all along, that everyone is psychic,? Smith said. ?I think a lot of people make use of their abilities without putting a name to it.?
Smith has been studying palmistry for almost 30 years, which could be considered her forte. ?I actually call it hand analysis because when I read hands, I read fingernails, the backs of the hands, wrists, lines and mounds on the hands,? Smith said. ?There is a lot of information coded in the hands.?
Hand analysis costs $85 and takes about 40 minutes for Smith and then the second half of the session, is when Smith ?channels? the information. ?When they ask questions, the answers usually come to me in the form of pictures,? she said.
Smith said that many people come to her when a loved one has passed or when they are considering making a big change in their lives. ?I get a lot of people who are thinking about changing jobs, moving or getting a divorce,? Smith said. ?My job is to give them tools and information to make wise choices, not make decisions for them.?
She said people also come to her when they want health issues addressed and many come with relationship issues.
?I believe that when I help my clients to find their best path, then I am following my own best path,? Smith said.
Of course Smith said that with her career comes some opposition. ?Some individuals just don?t understand what I do, and they write me off,? Smith said.
