Ghost threat in cancer ward scares patients

Kurnool, December 21: The threat of ghosts haunting the cancer ward kept the patients away from it at the General Hospital here. According to reports, the patients were scared to use the ward during day as well as night.

Those who were admitted to the ward preferred a stay at the vehicle stand outside rather than occupy the allotted beds. The patients entered the ward only for treatment.

The staff of the ward said the high death rate and trauma associated with the cancer treatment depressed the patients.
