CALLING all ghost hunters ? a charity for the blind is daring you to venture into Portsmouth's very own haunted mansion.
The ghoulish goings-on are organised by 4SIGHT, the West Sussex Association of the Blind, which is inviting people to raise sponsorship money by spending a night in the city's oldest house.
Intrepid fund-raisers will pay a visit to Wymering Manor, Cosham, at 7pm on Friday, March 28, accompanied by a team of paranormal investigators.
Reputed to be Britain's most haunted house, Wymering Manor is recorded in the Domesday Book. It is renowned as a favourite haunt of ghost hunters across the UK, many of whom visit it regularly in the hope of meeting its previous occupants.
The 4SIGHT event challenges those taking part to raise at least ?60 through sponsorship.
This will go towards providing blind and partially- sighted people living in West Sussex with vital services, including a home visit service for people suffering from sight loss, an audio library and postal service.
