On June 20, 2007 the Dawn Spacecraft will be launched to the asteroid Vesta and the dwarf planet Ceres. A silicon chip will be onboard the space craft with the names of all who signed up for the tour by November 4, 2006.

The Dawn spacecraft will be driven to the asteroid belt with a new ion propulsion system that will power the craft on its 3 billion kilometer (1.9 billion mile) journey. Already over 170,000 people have signed up for the voyage at NASA?s link.
