Children who visited Samlesbury Hall got more than they bargained for when they captured ghosts on their mobile phones.
The pupils from Walton-le-Dale Arts College and High School, near Preston, were on a trip to the 14th century manor house on the outskirts of the city when they noticed the 'orbs'.
Teacher, Joy Elliott, said: "They couldn't believe it when they looked at their phones.
"They were all snapping away and then they realised that there were wispy outlines on the pictures.
"It happened to around five or six of them."
