[Carol]

Niagara Area Paranormal Society is now offering a course and the opportunity to investigate a real haunted location!

Have you ever wanted to investigate a REAL haunted location? Are you interested in the topic of the Paranormal and wish to learn more? Have you ever wondered how real life investigators research and conduct an investigation? Well now is your chance.

Team members from the Niagara Area Paranormal Society are now offering a basic hands-on course on Ghost Hunting followed by the opportunity to investigate a haunted location.

In this course you will have the opportunity to learn how to research and investigate a haunted location using proper protocols and investigation techniques. You will also learn basic information about the equipment we use, and how to properly use them. You will learn about EVPs, how to find out the history of a haunted location, ghost photography, interview techniques, where to find ghosts and much more.

After you learn the basics of investigating you will be given the opportunity to investigate a haunted location and be able to apply what you learned with the guidance of investigators in the field at your side.

The cost of the course including the chance to investigate a haunted location is $75.

Class size will be limited so don?t miss out on this opportunity.

This location is VERY active. Our group had the opportunity to investigate here on March 1st of this year as well as conduct a follow up investigation. We were featured on Cogeco TV during our March 1st investigation. This location has also been featured on Ghost Trackers and on Creepy Canada episodes.

Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum.

I just wanted to say hi, and that I've signed up for this course. I'm looking forward to meeting others who are interested in this subject matter as well as those running the course. Also, really really looking forward to this opportunity to check out the Mildred Maloney Dollhouse. I've never been out on a proper investigation (just a ghost walk a number of years ago and a couple of trips with another organization that involved very little application of anything learned), and am thrilled to have the chance to not only check out a reportedly haunted site, but to also to learn something about how real investigations are performed (TV just doesn't express how much patience one needs, does it?). I find some of the TV programs are rather questionable, but a few are pretty good if at least more honest than the others.

I'm so glad to have stumbled across the announcement for this on kijiji - thank you!

This was so cool, thank you very much for offering this course!

I learned a lot about equipment use, it was great to have hands-on experience and someone there to actually show me, as opposed to just reading a book and trying to figure out what to do.

The best was that it was also at a reputably haunted location so not only did we learn how to use the gadgets, but we also got to use them in a real haunted setting!

Thank you again, this was by far the best bang for the buck, as opposed to just a walk around or tour (although those are fun, too, but this was not just for fun).

Thanks. We really enjoyed meeting everyone who came out that night.

I will be posting the results from the evening shortly on our site
