Screaming tunnels

Hey guys one of my fav. stories! 13 years ago a family friend was in school at niagara college and wanted me to play a part in his film for his year end project. The movie was about the screaming tunnels. There are so many little stories from these few months of filming but these events of three days was amazing. We were filming at night out at the tunnel and anyone who has ever been there knows there are various streams that travel through there which we repeatedly tried to dam. Needless to say it's an impossible task. The first night we built a small dam with sand bags and had a ton of camera equipment out there. We worked until 3 am building this so we could film a dry scene in the actual tunnel we arrived back at 6am only 3 hrs after we left and every single sand bag that took us 5 plus hrs to bulid was neatly pilled on on top of each other, rocks neatly stacked and not a single piece of equipment touched. AMAZING , I KNOW! three nights in a row we tried to build this up with more bags more rocks everything we could think of and each moring the same neatly stacked sand bags and rocks!! This is only a small piece of events in this adventure, we had a ton of daily things that happend during this summer. Thought i would start out with a small story on my first night posting here.

I have also heard many stories about the tunnels. I often wondered if some of it has become an urban legend of sorts over the years. I know that the Blue Ghost Tunnel has a lot of history surrounding it.

I think what happened to you guys was definitely odd. I would wonder though if someone was out there and moved the piles as there seems to be a lot of activity with people out there partying and what not. It's too bad there wasn't a camera out there or a way of finding out for sure. I personally wouldn't recommend leaving anything out there to find out due to the number of people who visit that site.

So what is the history with the house foundation past the tunnel??

There has been a few stories over the years. The most common is that a family lived in the house just past the tunnel in the late 1800's. Apparently the house caught fire and a girl who lived in the house ran from the fire. Her clothing was ablaze and she ran into the tunnel where she died. Legend has it if you go there and light a match at midnight, you'll hear her screams. I have been there but nothing out of the ordinary happened. It is a creepy place, especially in the dark.
