Exclusive Animal psychic: Captive cat sends me messages
By James Moncur
ANIMAL psychic Catherine Walker has been called in to trace a missing cat.
It is feared that Leo, the flat-eared Siamese - may have been catnapped for breeding by criminals who don't know that he is gay.
Cat breeder Maureen Martin is desperately hoping Catherine Walker will find her camp cat who went missing from her Dundee home two months ago after a friend left a door open.
She said: "Catherine has been a great help. She's looked at a picture of Leo and is certain he's still alive.
"She's even managed to describe the house he's in and what he can see out of a window.
"I'm still sick with worry but I'm really glad he hasn't been killed."

Catherine, 62, who lives in north Wales, makes a living talking to animals and prides herself as a horse whisperer, offered her services after seeing Maureen's plea for help on a website.
Catherine said yesterday: "I have been communicating with Leo and he's been giving me lots of information about where he is. He's not very happy at the moment because the people who are keeping him aren't giving him nice food.
"They've also got two cats - one black and the other tabby - but Leo tells me he doesn't like them very much either."
Catherine revealed that Leo is being held in a top-floor room of a three bedroom, semi-detached house.
She said he can see the top of a bus stop, a telegraph pole and lots of schoolchildren out of a window.
He also described being close to water and seeing a green car in the driveway.
Now Maureen, 50, is hoping someone may recognise the details and help her find Leo.
She said: "Catherine has been very successful in the past and we hope that a Record reader may know where Leo is.
"He's a very distinctive cat and as soon as you see him, you'll recognise him straight away."
Maureen said that anyone hoping to cash in on his pedigree for breeding is in for a disappointment.
Fourteen-month-old Leo has a harem of five females but decided his purrfect partner was a neutered Tom called Max.
Leo was even dubbed the feline Larry Grayson, after the late Generation Game host with the "shut that door" catchphrase.
Maureen, who paid ?3000 for Leo, added: "I originally bought him to breed and a lot of people know exactly how much he's worth.
"But from time to time, a male cat comes along who just doesn't want to know - and he's one of them."
Maureen added that a microchip implanted in Leo would expose the catnapper as not being his real owner.
Even if he was able to breed and produced offspring, his name could not be used on the kittens' certificates for the same reason.
She added: "If someone is that desperate for a Siamese, I'll give them one in return. I just want Leo back."
