He's scared the locals with his tales of terror in the city and now his ghostly stories are providing chills in the Far East.
Just like one of his spooks or ghouls, Dave Chisnell's Norwich ghost walks have popped up in an unexpected place - the Vietnam News.
The publication, which is one of the two major English daily newspapers in Vietnam, has run a large feature on Mr Chisnell and his walks.
Among the spooky stories recounted to the Vietnamese readers are the tale of the Grey Lady who was boarded up alive in a house with her family who had died from the plague, the decapitated Roundheads who clatter across the cobbles of Tombland and the mysterious monk who haunts the Maddermarket Theatre.
The story about Mr Chisnell was spotted by Colin Moore, of Earlham, who had received a copy of the Vietnam News from his son Graham.
Mr Moore said: "My son does a lot of work in the Far East. He goes to Vietnam and China and he bought a copy of this paper home for us to have a look at. It was amazing to see what was in it."
Mr Chisnell, who lives in Wymondham, began the Norwich Ghost and Horror Walks because of a trip to the historic city of York almost 20 years ago. He went on one of the ghost tours there and so enjoyed it that he decided to set something similar up in his home city.
As well as staging the ghost walks, Mr Chisnell has also written a play entitled Elvis Lennon JFK, which had a spooky theme as it dealt with John Lennon meeting Elvis and JFK after his shooting. The play was staged at the Maddermarket Theatre in 2004.
