Plants and their connection to the Paranormal

I have another question to ask that might seem odd but I was wondering if anyone here who has empathic/psyvamp abilities also have problems growing plants or keeping them alive?

The reason I ask is that I have always had a hard time growing plants, it doesnt matter what kind they are or how easy they are to grow for everyone else. They never seem to last long. Now the reason I am asking the question above, is I am curious if people with certain abilities are somehow draining the life out of the plants...literally! I've had friends that claim that after being with me, they feel as though they are drained of energy. So i am curious to know if there is a connection.
