Well, we'll see. For now, I only want to point out a couple of things.
First, unless this broadcast attracts the same audience as the Super Bowl or the World Cup, it will not be seen by "hundreds of millions."
Second, Zammit says, "Imagine hearing a clear male voice from the afterlife!" But we allegedly don't have to imagine it, since he has been taping such voices and making them available online for over a year. How does the voice become more convincing just because it's part of a TV show?
Third, I have to assume that David Thompson, the medium, will be operating in complete darkness as usual, with no infrared photography permitted. How then, can the "professional psychologists and empiricists with the highest credibility" serve as effective witnesses, when they won't be able to see anything?
Zammit has been proclaiming these seances to be "world shattering" events for more than a year. So far, the world remains unshattered. Until the controls are tightened, few people are going to be convinced that the materializations are more than just a trick.
Instead of arranging TV interviews for Thompson, Zammit would be better advised to hire an escape artist to secure the medium in escape-proof bonds. This is the obvious next step. Why hasn't it been taken? What is David Thompson afraid of?
