SPOOKY stories based on mystery, history and adventure are returning to Chatham's Historic Dockyard as part of a new season of junior ghost walks.

The tours, suitable for eight- to 12-year-olds, are led by costumed guides and include a visit to the ropery buildings - one of which is reputedly haunted. These walks complement the highly successful adult tours, which also return this month. Taking place at 7pm on February 22, March 21 and April 25, the junior walks offer something different for youth groups and more unusual birthday parties.

They last 45 minutes and cost ?6 per person. Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.

The adult ghost walks take place every Wednesday from February 13 until April 30. Walks take place at 7pm or 7.30pm and last about an hour and a half. They cost ?8.50 per person.
